New Website! New Journey!

Hi, I'm A.K. (everyone is named Alex, so I needed to differentiate myself somehow!) and I'm an LA-based producer and writer. To date, I've co-produced two independent feature films, colored one feature, sound mixed two features, and am currently a post producer at a commercial production company.

On the writing side of the business, I'm represented by Sarah Yapelli at Black Apple Talent and have a portfolio of six pilot scripts, with ongoing work on several feature projects.

What is A Nerdy Journey?

Great question! I'm still figuring it out myself, but here's is what A Nerdy Journey currently represents:

• A portfolio website where I keep all my work - directing, producing, and writing

• A Podcast where I interview entertainment industry professionals about their journeys into the industry

• Social channels where I document my journey along with the journeys of all my guests. Also, assorted videos related to writing, tech, and science.

• A Twitch channel where I stream various games (but mainly chess!)

I'll also try to post weekly entertainment industry updates and a general "what's happening in entertainment" newsletter every two weeks to coincide with the podcast.
